In this DSLR 1 class, the student is taught how to understand and use the many exciting features of a DSLR. These cameras offer a wealth of tools that can lead to wonderful photographs. This course will cover basic settings, exposure, depth of field, lens choices, shooting techniques and composition. If you bought your DSLR from Southern Photo ask about the $20 off coupon!  The general public is welcome to attend for $45.00.  First come, first served so sign up early!  The class is held in our Southern Photo Joy Gallery and Classroom where you will see many beautiful photographs framed in creative ways for inspiration.  Will your photo make it on our wall?

(08/14) Introduction to Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) cameras. Please bring your camera and a notebook.

(08/17) This DSLR 2 Class Continues from the Intro to DSLR 1 Class. Sections will include portraiture, landscape, macro, and action photography. Learn the next level exciting features of your DSLR. Class runs from 6-9pm.
